n8n-nodes-lark-suite

This is an n8n community node. It lets you use Lark Suite (Feishu) in your n8n workflows.

Lark Suite is a comprehensive collaboration platform that combines messaging, video conferencing, calendar, docs, and cloud storage in one integrated workspace. This node allows you to automate interactions with Lark Suite, including sending messages, managing documents, and integrating with other services.

Installation

Install this package:

npm install @adriancrisandy/n8n-nodes-lark-suite

Operations

The Lark Suite node currently supports the following operations:

Message

  • Send Message: Send messages to users or groups in Lark Suite
    • Support for various message types: text, rich text, images, files, interactive cards, and more
    • Flexible recipient targeting using different ID types (Open ID, Union ID, User ID, Email, Chat ID)
    • Message deduplication with UUID support
    • Rich formatting options for enhanced message presentation

Credentials

To use this node, you need to authenticate with Lark Suite using your app credentials:

Prerequisites

  1. Create a Lark Suite app in the Lark Developer Console
  2. Obtain your App ID and App Secret from the app settings
  3. Configure the necessary permissions for your app (e.g., messaging permissions)

Setup

  1. In n8n, create new credentials for "Lark Tenant API"
  2. Enter your App ID and App Secret
  3. The node will automatically handle tenant access token generation and renewal

Required Permissions

Ensure your Lark Suite app has the following permissions:

  • im:message - for sending messages
  • im:message:send_as_bot - for sending messages as a bot
  • Additional permissions may be required depending on your use case

Compatibility

  • Minimum n8n version: 1.0.0
  • Node API version: 1
  • Tested with: n8n 1.82.0+

This node is compatible with both self-hosted n8n instances and n8n Cloud.
