n8n community node for Clawatar — AI avatar that joins meetings and works autonomously.

Send an AI avatar to your Google Meet or Zoom calls, then trigger post-meeting workflows in n8n.

Installation

Community Nodes (recommended)

  1. Go to Settings > Community Nodes in your n8n instance
  2. Select Install a community node
  3. Enter n8n-nodes-clawatar
  4. Agree to the risks and click Install

Manual Installation

cd ~/.n8n/custom
npm install n8n-nodes-clawatar

Then restart your n8n instance.

Setup / Credentials

You need a Clawatar API key to use this node.

  1. Sign up at clawatar.xyz and go to the Dashboard
  2. Navigate to the Keys tab
  3. Create a new API key
  4. In n8n, go to Credentials > New Credential and search for Clawatar API
  5. Enter your API key
  6. The Base URL is pre-filled as https://clawatar-backend.fly.dev (no changes needed)

Operations

Bot

Operation Description
Create Create a new bot and join a meeting (Google Meet or Zoom)
Get Get the status and details of a specific bot
List List all bots in your account
Delete Remove a bot (leaves the meeting)

Session

Operation Description
List List all sessions (completed meetings)
Get Transcript Retrieve the full transcript of a session

Avatar

Operation Description
Chat Send a chat message through the avatar
Expression Set the avatar's facial expression
Gesture Make the avatar perform a gesture
Recolor Change the avatar's color
Reset Reset the avatar to its default state

Example Workflow

Google Calendar Trigger
  --> Clawatar: Create Bot (join meeting)
    --> Wait (for meeting to end)
      --> Clawatar: List Sessions
        --> Clawatar: Get Transcript
          --> OpenAI: Summarize Transcript
            --> Slack: Send Summary

Common use cases:

  • Auto-join scheduled meetings -- Trigger bot creation from a Google Calendar event
  • Post-meeting actions -- When a session ends, push the transcript to Slack, CRM, or Notion
  • Meeting summaries -- Feed transcript to an AI node for automated summary and action items
  • Live avatar control -- Change expressions or send chat messages based on workflow triggers

Pricing

New accounts receive $1 in free credit. Usage is billed at $0.50 per minute of meeting time. Add more credits via Stripe in the Dashboard.
