Credentials

You need an Inklined API key to use this node. Generate one from your Inklined dashboard under Settings > API Keys.

  1. In n8n, go to Credentials > New Credential > Inklined API
  2. Enter your API key (starts with ink_live_)
  3. Click Test to verify the connection

The webhook secret field is populated automatically when the Inklined Trigger node creates a webhook endpoint.

Nodes

Inklined

The main node for interacting with the Inklined API. Supports 5 resources:

Resource Operations
Account Get account, subscription, and credit info
Content Get Many, Get, Generate
Engagement Get Many, Get, Update
Knowledge Ingest
Topic Create, Generate, Get, Get Many, Update

Example: Auto-approve and generate content from new topics

  1. Inklined Trigger — listens for topic.created events
  2. Inklined (Topic > Update) — set status to approved
  3. Inklined (Topic > Generate) — trigger blog generation

Example: Ingest knowledge from external sources

  1. HTTP Request — fetch content from an RSS feed or API
  2. Inklined (Knowledge > Ingest) — send content to Inklined for processing

Inklined Trigger

A webhook trigger node that starts workflows when events occur in Inklined.

Event Description
content.generated New content (blog or LinkedIn) has been generated
content.published Content published to WordPress or LinkedIn
credits.low Credit balance below 10% of monthly allocation
engagement.new New engagement opportunity found
engagement.reply_ready Reply generated for engagement opportunity
knowledge.ingested New knowledge chunk processed
topic.approved Topic approved for generation
topic.created New topic discovered by scrapers

The trigger node automatically registers and deregisters webhook endpoints when you activate/deactivate workflows. Incoming webhooks are verified using HMAC-SHA256 signatures.
