Credentials

  1. In n8n, add new credentials of type Pexels API
  2. Set the API Key value from Pexels
  3. Leave Base URL as https://api.pexels.com unless instructed by Pexels to change it

Operations

  • Photos: Search, Curated, Get
  • Videos: Search, Popular, Get
  • Collections: List, List Featured, Get Collection Media (supports type filter photos/videos/all)

Usage notes

  • The nodes respect Pexels limits (max 80 items per request) and will paginate until the requested limit is reached.
  • The collection media response includes a collection object on each item with the collection metadata for easier tracing.
  • Colors and other filters map directly to the Pexels REST parameters; refer to the official docs for accepted values.
  • API Rate Limit: 200 requests per hour and 20,000 requests per month. Contact Pexels for higher limits with attribution examples.

Development

npm install

The build copies the SVG icon into dist/nodes alongside the compiled node files.
