n8n-nodes-wechat-md

This is an n8n community node that allows you to convert Markdown to WeChat Official Account compatible HTML. It includes features like syntax highlighting, math formula support, and customizable themes.

n8n is a fair-code licensed workflow automation platform.

Installation

Follow the installation guide in the n8n documentation.

  1. Go to Settings > Community Nodes.
  2. Select Install.
  3. Enter n8n-nodes-wechat-md in the npm Package Name field.
  4. Agree to the risks and select Install.

Usage

This node converts Markdown input into HTML with inline styles, ready to be pasted into the WeChat Official Account editor or pushed via API.

  • Math Support: Renders LaTeX formulas using KaTeX.

Development

Run the test script to generate sample output:

npx ts-node --transpile-only test-run.ts

This reads test.md and generates test.html in the project root.
