Zoho Bookings

Node for Zoho Bookings

Overview

This node interacts with Zoho Bookings to retrieve various types of information related to services, staff, appointments, and workspaces. Specifically, the "Get Services" operation under the "Other" resource allows users to fetch service details filtered by workspace ID, service ID, or staff ID.

Common scenarios where this node is beneficial include:

  • Retrieving all available services within a specific workspace.
  • Fetching details about a particular service using its unique service ID.
  • Listing services associated with a specific staff member.

Practical examples:

  • A business wants to display all services offered in a given workspace on their website.
  • An admin needs to get detailed information about a single service for editing or reporting.
  • A manager wants to see which services a particular staff member can provide.

Output

The output JSON contains a field named serviceInfo which holds the retrieved service data from Zoho Bookings. The structure of this data depends on the API response but generally includes details such as service names, descriptions, IDs, durations, pricing, and other metadata relevant to the services fetched.

No binary data output is produced by this operation.

Dependencies

  • Requires an active Zoho Bookings OAuth2 API credential configured in n8n for authentication.
  • Depends on the Zoho Bookings API endpoint, which varies based on the selected Zoho region.
  • Uses helper functions internally to perform HTTP requests and parse responses.

Troubleshooting

  • Missing or invalid Workspace/Service/Staff ID: Ensure that the IDs provided are correct and correspond to existing entities in Zoho Bookings.
  • Authentication errors: Verify that the OAuth2 credentials are correctly set up and have not expired.
  • Region mismatch: If the wrong Zoho region is selected, API calls may fail or return no data. Confirm the region matches your Zoho account's data center.
  • API rate limits or downtime: Zoho API may throttle requests or be temporarily unavailable; retry after some time if errors occur.
  • Error messages typically include HTTP status codes and descriptive messages from Zoho API. Review these messages to adjust input parameters or credentials accordingly.
